Friday, October 19th

On Wednesday we did finished the book Rain Forest Food Chains. We are having our test on Tuesday of next week. In grammar we are working on helping verbs. Spelling lesson 1.5 will come home on Monday.

Today we started reading our supporting text "Rain Forest Food Chains".
- Oct 12 - AIMS reports will be sent home with your student for math and reading
- Oct 12 - Grammar Quiz: Subjects, Predicates, and Prepositions
- Oct 17 - Parent Info Night for Robert Crown @ 6:30pm
- Nov 7 - Robert Crown Presentations in class for all 5th grade students

Fri., Oct. 5th

Today the students took their first ReadyGen test. It will be coming home on Tuesday with a note explaining the testing process. Tuesday we will begin reading "Rain Forests Food Chains". For grammar we are continuing diagramming and working on subjects, predicates, and prepositions. On Tuesday we will also be starting lesson 4 in spelling. Both classes have finished our read aloud "Restart" and are working on a final project.
